Preventing drug abuse is no longer just about simple slogans and awareness campaigns. There is a growing understanding that drug use is a symptom of a greater issue – and that children need more connections to their family and community. In recognition of that effort, Red Ribbon Week activities are meant to promote the hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism that kids need to thrive. Liberty students will recognize Red Ribbon Week October 29 - November 1 with a variety of activities including dress up days, a pledge to be drug free, and an assembly for grades 4-12 on Wednesday, October 30th. https://www.redribbon.org/
